Over the past thirty years, Davis Woo has lectured in Taipei, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, Manila, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Paris, London, Auckland, and Sao Paulo, to name a few. Currently, Davis is coming back to Taiwan to give lectures, teach classes, and prepare for the publication of his new book in 2024.
A graduate of the University of Berkeley, Davis worked as a strategic analyst for Hay Association, a renowned human resources firm, as well as for Wall Street Financial Investments, a foreign exchange investment firm, and as a management and human resources training consultant for Holiday Inn Group and Hilton Hotels International. He is now the President and Chief Consultant of Asia of Davis International Learning Organization, and is known as the "New Century Learning Master".

It can dramatically change and enhance people's learning process (including reading, listening, thinking, note-taking, and remembering); and in 1994, the system and training for effective learning was introduced to Taiwan and became the originator of this and related fields.
On the eve of the millennium in 1999, Davis was interviewed for the first time on a TV program (Good Morning) in Singapore, which was an instant hit!
He was also the host of "Remember Me" on CBS News and Global TV, and a columnist for Taiwan's China Times, Business Times, People's Daily, Minsheng Newspaper, Taiwan Daily News, Casino Daily News, Vancouver Global Chinese Newspaper, New York's Singing Island Weekly, and China Beauty Magazine. During this period, Davis published a series of books on education and growth topics, which have been popularly sold across the Taiwan Strait, including "This is the Most Effective Way to Learn," "The Davis Method of Ultra-Effective Reading," "One Day of Speaking English," "Davis' Super Memory Training," "Speaking English for Profit," "I'm Smart Because I'm Doing Memory Training," and "Making Money Rain or Shine," to name just a few.
After 2000, he created "This is the most effective way to learn".
The book has sold more than 600,000 copies in China!
It has been reported by several newspapers, including People's Daily, and has been highly praised by many famous people and important figures in education, such as Dr. Chih-Chiang Hu, former mayor of Taichung City, and Prof. Wei-Ju Shan, founder of Taiwan Montessori Kindergarten Foundation, as well as Prof. Berlin Zhao, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Nearly 100 schools, such as Peking University, have invited Davis to give lectures to their teachers and students, and his books have been listed by the Ministry of Education as recommended reading materials for primary and secondary school libraries nationwide.
Over the past 30 years, Davis has devoted himself to promoting effective learning methods, and now that society is facing the challenges of globalization and the rapid flow of information, he will create a second wave of the global learning renaissance.
In his 2014 LQ-book (Taiwan Excellence Press), Davis (co-authored by Dr. Ki-Ming Chuang) introduced the concept of Learning Quotient (LQ). In this new era, it is not enough to have high IQ and EQ, LQ will teach people to utilize their learning skills to achieve the combined effect of 1+1>2.
